Brenda Starr, Reporter had reached its 20th anniversary by the time series creator Dale (nee Dalia) Messick appeared on To Tell The Truth. Apparently, even host Bud Collyer, the original voice of Superman, might've been fooled......! Dale appears around the 10-11 minute mark for game 2.

One of the panelists being a secretary to Dorothy Kilgallan!
It's understandable that everyone seemed to think the guy was the cartoonist, since it's still a male dominated industry.
When I see pale imitations of these shows which have been airing lately (along side the Match Game revival) it makes me miss these panelists! These people had class and far more intelligence than today's celebs! Not to mention far more talent!
The current Truth (w/Anthony Anderson) caters to what passes for humor in the 21st century, and isn't anywhere close to classic Truth.
And, yet, it gets ratings for ABC, which is why they keep asking for other revivals.
