From Comics to Toons: Seven Little Superheroes (1981)

From Spider-Man & His Amazing Friends:

One of Spider-Man's oldest foes, the Chameleon, surfaces to create confusion and chaos, laying a trap for the Spider-Friends and special guests Shanna, Dr. Strange, Captain America, & the Sub-Mariner in a loose adaptation of Agatha Christie's Ten Little Indians. Here's "Seven Little Superheroes":

Edit, 9/4/23: We have an excerpt of Chameleon, wearing Sub-Mariner's form, and some expository dialogue:

Ya know, pilgrims, I have 0 memory of seeing this episode, so there ain't a rating to be had.

Boy do I remember this one! It was all one could do to keep track! Chameleon was making everyone paranoid!

It was a decent episode - especially since one got to see more Marvel heroes which weren't on TV much (or were being adapted for the first time in this episode.)

What always bugged me about the episode was the scene with Prince Namor in the swimming pool. He is tricked because the pool wasn't filled with water, but alcohol! Wouldn't he have smelled alcohol a mile away? The Prince of Atlantis should have learned the difference way before this point!

The writer didn't do his homework. Typical for the course, no? Shanna & Dr. Strange made their toon debuts in this one, and if memory serves, one or both of them would return in a later series.
