Quarterflash performs "Take Me To Heart", from the album, "Take Another Picture". A YouTube commentator noted that this was the same episode where Madonna made her debut ("Holiday").
This was Quarterflash's 2nd or 3rd appearance on Bandstand, so the cat was out of the bag by this time, to the disappointment of a lot of young boys, that singer-saxophonist Rindy Ross was already spoken for (married to guitarist and chief songwriter Marv).

Really liked them, especially Rindy Ross. Too bad they faded away after the first two records, but in the early MTV years tastes changed rapidly.
In the 80's, a lot of new bands averaged about three albums, then disappeared. I remember seeing "Harden My Heart", with Rindy in leotards & tights running through a maze, and, well, she had my attention until I found out she was married. Like I said, a lot of young boys were similarly disappointed.
