Toonfomercial: Cornelius Rooster meets a dinosaur (1966)

Here's another Hanna-Barbera ad for Kellogg's Corn Flakes. As before, Andy Devine is the voice of Cornelius Rooster. While the blond boy is real, his voice is dubbed over by Dick Beals.

Seems they used some backgrounds from Dino Boy in The Lost Valley.

Seems they also used some HB adventure background score as well.

I wonder why the kid was dubbed? One would think they'd get a kid actor who could at least enunciate.

Yes, they used the background music from the adventure shows of the period (Jonny Quest, Dino Boy, etc.). As for why they had Beals dub over the child? Maybe we're dealing with inexperienced child actors, and with Beals on the talent roster, they knew they had someone who could convey the story......
