Garfield (Lorenzo Music) and his dimwitted frenemy, Odie, tag along with some trick-or-treaters while a narrator explains what kids should wear on Halloween.
I'd think this ad could still play today, don't you?
Saw this constantly played back then, interesting how they incorporated footage from "Garfield's Halloween Adventure" into the live-action bits. There was another Garfield PSA on road safety that used "Garfield on the Town" in the same fashion.
