As we've talked about here in the past, when Diedrich Bader was hired to voice the Batman on Batman: The Brave & the Bold, his rendering of the Caped Crusader was almost a perfect mimic of Kevin Conroy's definitive portrayal of the World's Greatest Detective. Seems as though Bader had had some practice.
In 1993, Bader was a relative unknown when he was cast in The Searcher, 1/2 of Fox's short-lived Danger Theatre anthology series, which lasted 2 months. Listen very carefully to Bader as the Searcher.
Robert Vaughn (ex-The Man From U. N. C. L. E, The A-Team) was the narrator. We'll have more on Danger Theatre over at The Land of Whatever another time.

Man, I thought Goldstar and I were the only ones who saw "Danger Theater". IIRC, it was one of those summer series that didn't make to the fall schedule. One of the other recurring segments on the show was 'Tropical Punch', a spoof on the likes of "Hawaii Five-0" and "Magnum, P.I." starring TV's Adam West.
Post "Batman: The Brave and the Bold", Diedrich Bader went on to voice The Missing Link in the series version of "Monsters VS Aliens" on Nickelodeon. He's presently appearing on HBO's "Veep". I love the man's voice.
I am planning, as I said, to review Danger Theatre over at The Land of Whatever, and will cover both Tropical Punch and Searcher, plus a 3rd seg that replaced Punch the final week.
Bear in mind that pre-Brave & the Bold, I only knew Bader from the Drew Carey Show and the film version of Beverly Hillbillies......
Same here - I don't seem to recall this show, but Bader definitely had comic timing from the beginning.
Danger Theatre was a Sunday show, one of the lead-ins at the time to the Simpsons.
