Friz Freleng and his staff at DePatie-Freleng couldn't resist borrowing some old Bugs Bunny gags for this Ant & The Aardvark entry, "Isle of Caprice". Sub Charlie Ant (John Byner) for Bugs, and the Aardvark (Byner) for Yosemite Sam, and you'll get the idea.
Bugs did it better.

Friz had a habit of re-using premises and gags for his various shorts. I admire Freleng as one of the true talents of Termite Terrace, but I admit to gritting my teeth whenever he would do this.
Ditto. Of course, we're a little more learned now than we were when we first saw this.
