Paul Fusco was rolling at NBC. ALF was in its 4th season, and there were two animated spinoffs on Saturday mornings. A 3rd Fusco Saturday entry would come along in the form of Spacecats a year or so after his last primetime special.
The Wickedest Witch, narrated by Burgess Meredith, is a satire of Halloween tropes and cliches, although the underground world governed by Avarissa (Rue McClanahan, The Golden Girls) looks like Fusco ripped off Fraggle Rock, although some of the sets would be reused for the puppet portion of Spacecats. Fusco even uses his Gordon Shumway (ALF) voice for one of the Greevils.

Unfortunately, this ended up a flop.
Sad really, I still really hate the finale of "ALF" given how that ended, with "Project ALF" feeling like a halfhearted attempt to patch up loose ends.
Project ALF?? Have to look that one up.
It was a made for TV flick that aired on ABC (not NBC apparently) in 1996. Basically it has ALF in the custody of the US military or whatever and the Tanners are said to be in the witness relocation program so they're not in the film at all (I think they say they're in Iceland). It's kinda weak and throws in references to the OJ Simpson trial since everyone did that at the time.
The only part I sorta liked was this bit near the beginning...
