"Farewell, Sweet Mouse" was the 1st short in the 1980 Tom & Jerry Comedy Show, which revived the old rivalry between the frenemies, but toned down to adhere to network standards & practices of the day.
It's a rainy Halloween, and while Tom & Jerry both want some rest, a leaky roof causes more problems......
The intro & closing are included with some of the shorts now available on YouTube. Frank Welker does a perfect Bill Thompson mimic of Droopy in the intro.
