From season 1 of The Wild, Wild West comes an example of how even assassins fall in love while on the job.
This would refer to sexy Ecstasy La Joie (Yvonne Craig), sent to kill a visiting emissary, but in the course of her mission, falls prey to the charms of James West (Robert Conrad). Here's "The Night of The Grand Emir":
As you can see, Ecstasy ended up helping West and Artemus Gordon (Ross Martin) thwart the plot, although she did promise to try again to kill the Emir (Robert Middleton), but, unfortunately, Ecstasy was never seen again.
