You Know The Voice: Mike Road (1971)

This one's for Hal Horn at The Horn Section:

Forrest Tucker (ex-F-Troop) plays a xenophobic parent who doesn't want his daughter seeing a college student from the Middle East in the Cade's County episode, "The Alien Land", which aired in December 1971. Mike Road (ex-Jonny Quest, The Herculoids, The Roaring 20's, Buckskin) appears as District Attorney Jack Forbes, and first appears at the 25 minute mark.

Nice find, I hadn't seen this guest appearance. Tuck had a lot of memorable ones in the late 60s/early 70s.

Thought that might get your attention. There's other stuff on YouTube, and a quick check of IMDB should bring some other gems. I have a hazy memory of him doing one of those superhero shows in the 70's. I'm thinking Bionic Woman, but that's what IMDB is for.

I did a blog post a couple of years back on his 100th birthday highlighting a few. His KOJAK appearance is outstanding (should have received an Emmy nomination IMO) and he was also great on two MEDICAL CENTER appearances, playing William Quantrill on HONDO, and in a hard to find but really good TV movie called WELCOME HOME, JOHNNY BRISTOL just to name a few off the top of my head. And yes, he was on BIONIC WOMAN in 1976 (I think).

Welcome Home, Johnny Bristol co-starred Martin Landau (Mission: Impossible), as memory serves. I am going hunting for some of these.
