Toonfomercial: Singing mini-wheats? (2009)

Kellogg's Frosted Mini-Wheats celebrates 50 years this year, but Kellogg's is kinda downplaying it.

Ten years ago, the company was producing Strawberry Mini-Wheats. Seems this spot was produced in, like, Canada, eh?

Like, it never played here in the US, eh, so this is new to you, eh?

I remember watching these online just a couple of years ago. There were several other commercials - the one that often comes to mind has a song modeled after the Village People's "In the Navy."

Personally, I find Canada's mascot of MW much more appealing. I wonder why the U.S. has never used him before. Also, his voice reminds me of Rob Paulsen, but the real actor remains unclear to me.

I did some research. John Stocker, apparently, is the vocalist on these Canadian ads.
