Saturtainment: Eerie, Indiana: The Other Dimension (1998)

First, Fox picked up Eerie, Indiana off the scrap heap, and put it on Saturday mornings. Enough people must've liked it enough that Fox ordered a sequel.......which bombed.

Eerie, Indiana: The Other Dimension was a mid-season replacement series that launched in February 1998, but only 13 episodes were produced. Omri Katz, who starred in the original Eerie, returned only for the opener, to pass the torch to the new stars.

Ironic that Fox Kids would be the network block that would pick up the reruns of "Eerie, Indiana", since when the series was airing on prime time, it aired opposite FOX's "Parker Lewis Can't Lose" on Sunday nights. As an in joke, in one episode of "Parker Lewis", an extra in a crowd scene is holding up a sign that reads "Thanks for not watching 'Eerie, Indiana'".

Thanks for reminding me, Goldstar, that the original Eerie had aired on NBC. I wanted to include that, but wasn't quite sure at the time.
