Coming attractions: Your first look at Me-TV Toons' schedule

On June 25, Me-TV Toons debuts. It may not show up on your cable system right away---you may need to contact your local provider---but this is what Cartoon Network used to be, 30 years ago. Ever since they got away from their mission statement, fans have wanted an all-toon channel everyone can appreciate. Scope:

One wonders how they'll fill the overnight hours.

Stay tooned.

To tell the truth, I for one am glad it’s happening. The schedule has a much broader variety. Cartoon Network wasted so much time airing reruns of that blue cat boy and the madcap version of the quintet of DC characters that it lost any standing it had as “the best place for cartoons.” Same goes for Nickelodeon - I don’t blame anyone who refuses to pitch their show to a network that subsists on a 25-year-old show. And don’t get me started on Disney XD.

Regardless, MeTV Toons is looking to be a decent place to introduce more millennials to the classic cartoons.

It's a Catch 22 situation; no one is watching Cartoon Network anymore because there's nothing new on it, and Warner Brothers won't put anything new on Cartoon Network because no one is watching it.

In any case, MeToons seems like it'll be a better Boomerang than Boomerang is now

They're still spamming Gumball into the ground? You'd think Chumptoon Network would've learned that after all this time, it's time to diversify. Like, I'll be happy (and I know you will, too, Goldstar) if MeTV Toons adds some DC cartoons from the 70's-90's......

It would be interesting if MeT V Toons ended up airing H-B 's Super Friends. That show used to stream on HBO Max, but it was dropped after Warner Discovery removed the "HBO" from the name.

Blessed be, I'd be over the moon!

I know my market(Seattle-Tacoma) will have it over the air at launch through a couple stations here...

Now let's just hope Xfinity locally will pick up that over the air feed; frankly, if they picked up MeTV Toons and dropped Cartoon Network, I would not miss Cartoon Network at all, as I barely watch it anymore.

I'm hoping Spectrum picks it up here, and there is a spot open for it.
