Edit, 6/13/23: We've located a screencap:
Only 4 new Dynomutt episodes were produced, all in 2-part format to fit Laff-a-Lympics' 2 hour window, resulting in a grand total of 20 episodes produced over the 2 seasons (1976-8).
It's just too bad that H-B & ABC never considered a crossover that would've had the Falcon & Dyno meeting the Super Friends, but, then again, I felt the same way about them not having Scooby-Doo team with the Justice Leaguers.
Rating: B.

H-B tried to make Dynomutt a little less of a bumbler in the show's second season. He was still funny, but he was a hinderence to Blue Falcon. It's also worth noting that Dyno was considerably more competent in the Dynomutt comic book series, to the point where Dog Wonder would sometimes go on missions on his own without B.F.
^The above should be "He was less of a hinderance to Blue Falcon".
I never got to read the Dynomutt books that Marvel put out, but of course they'd want Dyno to be more effective & efficient on the printed page. You'll recall the same thing happened with the Wonder Twins. Just slightly above comedy relief on Super Friends on TV, but a little more mature and assertive in the book.
