Saturtainment: Go Go Gophers in The Great White Stallion (1966?)

The mischievous Go Go Gophers knew they had an easy mark in Colonel Kit Coyote (Kenny Delmar), perhaps never more obvious than in "The Great White Stallion".......

Note that the copyright reads 1962, which puts the lie to Wikipedia's account of the series.

Rating: B.

Produced by Famous Studios, the same studio that gave us Underdog, The Go-Go Gophers is one of those cartoons from the past that'll probably never get a revival, as it's comical depictions of Native Americans would be seen as grievously politically incorrect by today's standards.

You mean Gamma Television, don't you, Goldstar? Famous Studios was part of Paramount.

Yeah, that's right. My mistake!

I do agree, though, that Go Go Gophers wouldn't be revived today intact any more than, say, F-Troop, unless the Gophers 1) added to their tribe and 2) began speaking perfect English.
