Saturday Morning's Forgotten Heroes: The Impossibles vs. the Sinister Speck (1966)

In the 60's, the use of the phrase "unfriendly power" in television series usually meant a Communist nation like China or the Soviet Union. If the Impossibles fought the Sinister Speck today, he'd be selling his stolen secrets to, oh, I don't know, maybe Iran?

Let's just show you what kind of goofy foes our rock & roll heroes have to deal with.......

Speck should be lucky he didn't get stepped on when he was as small as a, well, speck of dust!

Rating: C.

What always got me about this ep was seeing the Jetsons' car! Sure it had a new paint job, but it really smacked of cannibalization!

This isn't my favorite ep of the Impossibles, but I still adore them!

Speaking of... I've nearly finished my reboot bible and am ready to start a pilot script. It'll probably never get made, but it gets my creative juices flowing.

You might want to get together with Kenny McCall over at ToonZone (PM him and see what happens). He has his own reboot ideas, radical as they are for the Impossibles. I have mine, and I'll share them sometime. Just not now.
