Talk about lack of originality.

The funny thing is, is more recent times, Maureen has tried her hand as a country singer. Plus, the Brady Kids got into such strange worlds the live action series couldn't possibly take them.

I remember from an interview with Maureen McCormick that since the kids were still taping The Brady Bunch simultaneously with voicing their animated counterparts, they were frequently recording in their dressing rooms in between takes. Scheimer would have them say random things like, "Groovy" or "Wow" and later insert it into the script.

I remember hating that Greg & Marsha were eventually replaced vocally, and the Scheimer kids' voices turned up in many more Filmation works like "Sport Billy" among others. Gotta love Lou for keeping it in the family!

I also couldn't help but notice the similarities in animating the Brady Kids' band playing with that of The Archies. Then again, Filmation had to cut corners as did most studios back then.magicdoghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10755186050643383954noreply@blogger.com
