Six years on, nothing has been heard about it, which most likely means the producers thankfully must have decided to scrap the whole project. For those who are curious, though, here's the first of four articles posted to Cartoon Brew about the series:

http://www.cartoonbrew.com/tv/the-governator-from-andy-heyward-39983.htmlAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01696373952382364242noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-365564334433777661.post-69491775466890526982017-08-16T23:03:02.377-04:002017-08-16T23:03:02.377-04:00No, their quality began to go down the tubes after...No, their quality began to go down the tubes after Real Ghostbusters ended. As it turns out, Inspector Gadget's Field Trip, also for History, came along in 1996 to fill the gap between seasons of Gadget Boy. Someone at History decided to use Gadget Boy as a teaching tool, too, hence the 2nd season being a time travel show.hobbyfanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08089664500077967952noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-365564334433777661.post-9818241958224643542017-08-16T11:06:30.590-04:002017-08-16T11:06:30.590-04:00So, was Gadget's brain transferred into the bo...So, was Gadget's brain transferred into the body of a small boy? I don't think that there was ever any in-universe explanation given to this shows' premise. I'm guessing that this was strictly a non-canon deal existing solely outside of the time line of any other Inspector Gadget series.Goldstarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09846460632113045285noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-365564334433777661.post-70128153258315387652017-08-16T10:22:55.214-04:002017-08-16T10:22:55.214-04:00Gadget Boy & Heather originally aired in syndi...Gadget Boy & Heather originally aired in syndication as part of the Amazin' Adventures block (Gadget aired on Wednesdays).
