Saturday Morning's Greatest Hits: What Have You Done For Me Lately (1986)

After her first two solo albums barely raised ripples on the charts, Janet Jackson busted out of the shadows of her brothers with 1986's "Control". Of course, it might've helped that she wasn't on the same label as the rest of the clan, recording for A & M at the time (the guys recorded for Epic, although Jermaine had a solo deal with Arista).

Here's Ms. Jackson, performing "What Have You Done For Me Lately" from American Bandstand, and uploaded by----wait for it---janeticon.
